Though the information on the tax invoice and receipt might be similar, a tax invoice is not a receipt.
Sellers or vendors make receipts and invoices and issue these documents for their clients, customers, or clients. When it comes to taxes, these 2 documents are made by the authorities and issued to taxpayers. A tax invoice is a request for payment.

On the other hand, tax receipts are documentation that can serve as a proof that you already pay your tax. The information on this receipt includes the payment method and also the total amount of tax paid. You can use it as evidence.
