Commercial Cleaning Checklist Template
What Do You Need to Include in a Commercial Cleaning Checklist?
Preparing a new office can be a daunting task to do especially when you have to think about cleaning the space at all times. There are some tools that you have to prepare to ensure that the cleaning task is done properly and at all times. Some companies might just hire a cleaning service vendor to do it for them, while others prefer to hire someone and get them to take care of the office space in-house without having outsiders (3rd party vendor) to do it for them. How to prepare for this? Creating a commercial cleaning checklist can be suitable, especially for multiple uses.
Keeping all the employees happy with the clean looking office can boost their work effectivity too. This is why all the tools that are needed to clean the space need to be prepared properly too. Some of the tools and accessories that can be included are trash bins, plastic liners, vacuum cleaner, mops, brooms, duster, sanitizers, soaps, etc. With the pandemic that is going on everywhere, many offices will prepare to have hand sanitizers to be placed in different corners of the room, so people can use them freely when they need to. As for the checklist itself, few lists can be included in it to make sure that once or twice a week, a person (or more) that has already been assigned to it can tick the boxes off.

For a commercial cleaning checklist, here are some of the lists that can be included. You will need to make sure that the trash bins are emptied and the plastic liners are replaced with new ones. Sweeping and mopping possible areas will also need to be done, except if the office floors are covered with carpets, then they need to be vacuumed as well. Sanitizing is also important especially these days. Have one box for sanitizing all the office equipment (using disinfectants or UV lights where possible). Make sure all the walls in the office are clean, along with doors, windows, etc.
The checklist template for commercial cleaning does not have to be complicated. You can create an easy simple one for everyone to use. Whether they are going to use it daily, twice per week, or more, that can be determined by the management. If you need to change some of the content or the list of the checklist, you can edit them easily too. Using Microsoft Word or Microsoft Excel can be easiest since they are usually already available provided by the company.
