College Recommendation Letter From Teacher
How to Write a College Recommendation Letter From Teacher
What information should you include in a college recommendation letter from teacher? When your student applies for university, he or she needs two reference letters from the teacher. If you agree to write one, you should make it as persuasive as possible.
Essentially, you don’t always have to agree to write a reference letter. What you have to do is write a positive letter if you agree. Meanwhile, if writing positive feedback about the student makes you uncomfortable, feel free to turn down the offer. Also, consider pointing towards another teacher who might be able to write such a letter.
If you finally agree to write the letter, you should ask the student about the particular school. All you need to do is to connect the student to the school. Find as much skill as possible that fits excellently to the school your student is applying for.
Since you are a teacher, introduce how you know the student at the beginning of the letter. The letter should remain positive without being overpraising. On the other hand, you better skip cliches such as “diligent student” or “hard worker” or other cliches; be specific.
